But there are some actually official ones that came from burger king like mine. They are legit, though I'd be careful cause I recently saw a Mercari knockoff version where the art was different (I compared their Mewtwo to my Mewtwo, not the same 1999 artwork I have) so there are fake versios of the real ones out there. Yes you're correct I still have one left, my Mewtwo, it was a burger king limited run, I had all of them including the Pikachu, polywhirl, jigglypuff and Charizard. I need to be sure that metalic/gold plated cards are fake so that my sister don’t potentially make a fool out of her self at school. And that the boys in her class don’t have some new metalic/gold plated cards I just don't know about. So I wanna make 100% sure that those metalic/gold plated cards are actually fake/unofficial. Therefore, I really don’t want to put her in a situation were she is embarrassing her self again. So I don’t entirely trust her to not just walk up to them on monday and rub it inn there face that they have fake cards too. I didn't encourage her to go and just do this to boys for revenge, only if they started to make fun of her again. I told her that if they made fun of her again for buying a cheep fake card, she could tell them that they hadd wasted more mony then her on expensive fake cards. I told her that those boys were wrong and that there gold plated/metalic cards were just as fake as hers. Then she told me that the boys whom made fun of her, all hadd "real" gold plated/metalic pokémon cards. And I told her that pokémon don’t sell metalic cards like that. And today she ask me if those metalic cards were fake too. Apparently she took one of the metalic cards to school, and some boys in her class started mocking for bringing and showing off a fake card. Fast forward to this week, summer vecation is over and she is back to school. I didn't explicitly tell her those were fake tho. She also bought two "gold" plated/metalic cards. All of them was clearly fake unfortunately.
